WHO IS IT FOR?

The Rise is more than just a platform. We wanted to create a detailed design with highly functional features and complex shapes that offer high levels of performance. Built with premium materials and the latest construction techniques, it's a board for those who have mastered the basics and are ready to feel real engagement under their feet.

IT'S NOT JUST THE BEGINNING

This may be Ozone's first wingfoil board in production, but we haven't overlooked any aspect of development.

When designing, Ken Adgate, a highly accomplished wingfoil team rider for Ozone who has also handcrafted many custom boards for top riders in San Francisco's hyper-competitive scene, contributed his input and opinion.

By accelerating the adoption of proven technology and design, which often takes years to transition from competition to freeride, the Rise V1 is a cutting-edge product that will suit intermediate riders and beyond, regardless of their ambitions.

Also benefiting from advice from Johnny Heineken – undoubtedly one of the best freeride riders and racers in the sport – Ozone's board designer, Tibo dos Santos, combined this wealth of knowledge and experiences to create a design built with premium materials and expertly shaped with highly functional features.

The Rise V1 is more than just a platform - it's accessible and fun, but it also allows you to feel a very close connection with your foil that will only enhance your levels of performance.

FEEL THE FLIGHT

Design details to enhance your riding
In the five different sizes in the range, from 40L to 90L, each unique design has its volume refined through a compact shape that ultimately provides the most stable platform possible for varying buoyancy levels.

Find the configuration that suits your level and riding style through extended and custom foil rails that offer a full range of mast positions.

By lowering your center of gravity to the water's surface, the concave embedded in the deck gives you a greater sense of control. The high-quality EVA deck handle is also designed with a central arch support so you can do much of the sensory work to position your feet correctly while keeping your eyes fixed on the horizon.

The double concave hull in the nose area transitions to a flat V section at the mast level, with slightly more aggressive V sides towards the rear. These features help the Rise V1 to be more stable. During forward movement, water flow is accelerated, adding speed and ease during waterstart – even when the board is deeply submerged under the water's surface on low-volume models.

The Rise V1 is designed not only to help you take off faster, but also to allow you to maintain your speed, control, and confidence in all conditions. Thanks to its progressive rockerline and beveled rails whose angle increases towards the nose of the board, you will easily handle high-speed touchdowns and rail deviations in intense choppy conditions.

WHAT YOU FEEL:

Sporty and responsive riding with great maneuverability in turns.
Performance and great maneuverability. Direct and connected sensation with the foil, which also allows very effective pumping.
Stable platform with refined volume distribution across width, length, and thickness. Perfect balance between length and width for easy use, while keeping weight to a minimum for performance and progression.
Easy starts and rapid acceleration on the water
Easy deepwater starts and quick water exit if the board sinks under your weight.
Excellent recovery from touchdowns and less risk of nose diving due to reduced chop on the nose of the board.
For jumps, takeoffs are smooth and landings are safe.
Ideal board balance according to your preferences, with many options for mast position to achieve more or less lift.
Secure and comfortable grip underfoot, perfect for performance with or without straps, barefoot or with boots.
Footstraps can be configured in many positions and are made of soft foam and neoprene to offer superb comfort. They can also be pressed flat to not interfere with the upper body when paddling.
Very easy to transport
WHY YOU FEEL IT:

Lightweight carbon construction with 50K foam, internal reinforcements, and carbon layers around the nose, rails, and rear.
Semi-compact shape with refined volume distribution to reduce swing weight.
Progressive rockerline with medium nose rocker
Double concave hull in the nose area transitions to a V tail (with a flat section around the mast rail) to accelerate water flow and facilitate release when necessary.
Gradually beveled rails with a steeper angle on the nose and front of the board, evolving into a straighter rail towards the back of the board with a reverse angle tail for excellent water release.
Concave deck lowers the center of gravity to improve sensations and control.
Custom-molded and ultra-durable extended mast rails
High-quality EVA grip with central arch and tail kick
Solid insert blocks for footstraps, easily positioned using self-tapping screws
Deep carry handle on the hull

"Ozone operates like a big family, and they're open to all suggestions, which is really cool. The sky's the limit."
