This new High Performance Stabilizer enhances the Alpinefoil HA (High Aspect) range of wings such as the Regatas (580, 850 & 1100) or the Cruises (1250 & 1450) by pushing them to the maximum of their capabilities in terms of top speed, performance and handling.
The flat arch of this stabilizer is inspired by aeronautics and hang gliders, to promote yaw and increase the release in carving.
The Aspect Ratio is called SHA Super High Aspect with an Aspect Ratio of 8.6,
This very high ratio allows to reduce the drag on the ends of the vortex and to increase considerably the efficiency.
This characteristic is found in particular on competition gliders.
This improved efficiency is felt on several points:
The length of the foil in transitions (jibe in particular) is improved, the foil glides even more
At the pumping level, the foil returns more energy, glides more and we manage to maintain the flight even better by tiring less.
The VMax is unbridled, we feel that the foil still wants to accelerate and we manage to gain a few more knots without forcing too much
Technical side : To have this high ratio and to keep a high level of stiffness, essential to the control of the foil, it was necessary to use a unidirectional high modulus carbon (UD) construction under press at 200 bars.

Difference in behavior between SHA 239 and SHA 188
The SHA 239 is more forgiving than the 188, it requires less steering precision, it will be more pleasant in the swell
The SHA 239 starts earlier, it allows to gain a little on take-off
The SHA 239 offers an exceptional pumping, the output is fabulous and the pumping is easy, it is super easy to pass the wind softness, thanks to the apparent wind generated and its glide.
In short, this stabilizer will delight speed lovers who want to push their foil to its maximum capacity without losing all the advantages of an Alpinefoil (Stability, Accessibility, Performance...)
