The footprint of the 7.7 is comparable to that of a 6.5 m2, the wingtips don't touch the water at launch, and the sail delivers remarkable continuous power. Another notable feature is the sail's lightness, giving the impression of holding a 5.7 m in your hands. The profile is very taut and the sail is extremely rigid. As soon as you set off in just 7 knots, you immediately feel the power, and thanks to its long carbon handles, the sail allows you to stand vertically. On the water, the sail accelerates quickly and the trough remains very stable. When the wind picks up, it's even more impressive because you're never overtaken. I tested it in over 20 knots and never felt the need to change sail. A great achievement by Ozone, which I don't hesitate to use when the wind fluctuates. During my tests, I was able to sail from 6/7 knots with the Ozone Rise 90 Litres board and the Alpinefoil Hawk V3 foil equipped with the DW1370 and the HA165 stabilizer.
