    The 78 cm version is specifically designed for Dockstart, SUP Downwind, and Surf.
  • Thickness: 14 mm in the flow zone
  • Hydro Profile: HAWK V3
  • Material: Available in two carbon options:
    • HR High Resistance (identifiable by White/Orange sticker)
    • HM High Modulus (identifiable by Blue/Red/White sticker and UD High Modulus carbon band along the leading edge)
      38% increased stiffness between HR and HM versions, as measured on a test bench
  • Monobloc Continuous Fiber Plate: Compatible with US Rails with standard spacing for easy installation
    • No fiber breaks between plate and mast
    • No bonding between housing and mast
    • No fiber break at the top of the plate
  • Fuselage: Machined in aviation-grade aluminum with sacrificial anode for enhanced corrosion resistance (inspired by marine applications) or titanium fuselage option
  • Compatibility: Fits all Alpinefoil wings since 2010

Alpinefoil MCF (Monobloc Continuous Carbon Fiber) Technology:

  • The mast has a “4-Hole Plate” housing integrated directly within the mast fibers, making it lighter and stiffer than a standard mast with a glued-on plate.
  • S-Shape AlpineFoil Patent: The S-shaped anti-ventilation system advances the mast on the fuselage, preventing ventilation or stalling regardless of speed.
  • Advanced Fixing Point: The mast is positioned further forward on the fuselage, offering a more intuitive and natural turn initiation. When the foil begins a turn, it follows the curve naturally without pilot input, similar to the way a parabolic ski turns compared to a straight ski.
  • 3D Shape: The mast shape evolves along its entire length, with greater thickness near the housing for increased rigidity, while remaining slimmer (14 mm) near the fuselage for improved glide without compromising rigidity.
